More than 32.2 million tons of Ukrainian grain were exported
As of March 15, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 32 mln 265 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 469 thsd tonnes or 1.07 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 12 mln 864 thsd tonnes, which is 875 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 806 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 17 mln 309 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 981 thsd tonnes or 1.17 times less than last year.
In addition, 76.0 thou tons of flour (or 101.3 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 30.6 thou tons or 1.4 times less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on March 13. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 31 mln 887 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
