More than 31.2 million tons of Ukrainian grain were exported
As of March 11, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 31 mln 212 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 3 mln 014 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 12 million 496 thousand tons, which is 629 thousand tons more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 761 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 16 mln 670 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 248 thsd tonnes or 1.19 times less than last year.
In addition, 75.0 thou tons of flour (or 100.0 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 30.1 thou tons or 1.4 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on March 8. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, the exports amounted to 30 mln 989 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
