More than 20.5 mln tons of grain were exported
As of December 23, in MY 2024/25 Ukraine exported 20 mln 520 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 3 mln 036 thsd tonnes or 17.3% more than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 9 million 428 thousand tons, which is 2 million 173 thousand tons or 29.9% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 956 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 8 mln 816 thsd tonnes, which is 281 thsd tonnes or almost 3.1% less than last year.
In addition, 36.0 thou tons of flour (or 48.0 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 18.5 thou tons or 1.5 times less than last year.
