Lebanon bought the most Ukrainian sugar
Ukraine exported 116.1 thousand tons of sugar in the first three months of MY 2025/26.
This was reported by the National Sugar Association “Ukrsugar” on Facebook.
The main buyers of Ukrainian sugar in September – November 2025 were the countries of the Middle East and the Western Balkans:
- Lebanon – 37% of the exported volume;
- Syria – 18%;
- North Macedonia – 8%;
- Bosnia and Herzegovina – 7%;
- UAE – 7%.
The association noted that 95% was not sent to the European Union market.
