Kernel exports almost 50% of its total sunflower oil to India
“Kernel has exported 1 million tons of sunflower oil in bulk to about 30 countries in the first nine months of the year, the company’s press service reports.
“We remain the largest agro-exporter and are among the top 3 total exporters of Ukraine,” the statement said.
The company exports almost 50% of the total volume of oil to India, and another 8% to the UAE. Other countries include China (7%), Spain (7%) and Italy (5%).
According to Kernel, in order to expand the export opportunities of the entire industry, last year the company began offering its infrastructure capacities to other farmers in the market – at terminals in Odesa region, it provides services for transshipment of grain crops and oil.
The company is also completing the construction of one of the largest oil extraction plants in Europe in western Ukraine.
