Kazakhstan. Sunflower oil producers shifting their focus towards foreign markets
The operational results of Kazakhstan’s fat-and-oil sector in H1 2019:
– sunflower oil production was 4% higher than a year earlier;
– sunflower oil exports were up 7% year-on-year (the top importer was China);
– foreign currency earnings were up USD 1 Ml year-on-year;
– the export share in total output of sunflower oil equaled 30% (up 4% year-on-year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
