Kazakhstan preparing to process its rising oilseed crop
49 oilseed crushers with a total capacity of 1.4 MMT currently operate in the country, the Fat-and-Oil Union of Kazakhstan reports.
Six more plants are projected to be launched by 2021. Once this is done, the industry’s total capacity will exceed 2 MMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The new plants will be multi-oilseed crushing facilities: they will process sunseed, linseed, rapeseed in the northern regions and sunseed, soybeans, cotton in the southern ones.
