Kazakhstan. Linseed exports falling for a second season in a
Linseed exports from Kazakhstan in September-November 2021/22 totaled 90.3 KMT. This is 34% lower compared to the same period of last year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The EU is the top importer – it absorbs 85% of total exports. At the same time, the volume of purchases fell by almost 2%.
Turkey stepped up purchases to 6.2 KMT vs. 0.8 KMT a year earlier and became the second biggest importer.
A rise in linseed exports from Kazakhstan was registered to the following markets: Turkey (+697%), The Netherlands (+694%), Poland (+44%).
A slowdown in exports was observed to China (-92%), Afghanistan (-83%) and Belgium (-23%).
