Kazakhstan exported 5.8 mln tons of new harvest grain

Kazakhstan has reported an increase in grain exports. According to the National Company KTZ, supplies have increased significantly to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. Flour shipments have also increased.
7.4 million tons of grain were transported in September-February 2024/2025. Of this volume, 1.6 million tons were shipped domestically. 5.8 million tons were exported. The growth in export volumes was 53%.
2.2 million tons were exported to Uzbekistan, which is 34% more than in the same period in 2023/2024.
To Tajikistan – 857 thousand tons – an increase of 49%.
To Afghanistan – 248 thousand tons – an increase of 36%.
To Iran – 700 thousand tons – an increase of 18 times.
To Azerbaijan – 363 thousand tons – an increase of 90 times.
In January-February, 466 thousand tons of flour were transported. Including exports amounted to 314 thousand tons.
We will add that by the end of 2024, 10.6 million tons of grain were transported, including 2.5 million tons within the country and 8.1 million tons for export.
Also, 3.2 million tons of flour were transported, including 817 thousand tons within the Republic of Kazakhstan and 2.4 million tons for export with an increase of 3%.
