Jordan purchases 120 thsd tons of wheat in tender
Jordan bought about 120,000 tons of wheat in an international tender that closed on Tuesday, February 10, traders said. According to market participants, the grain was purchased at around $264.50 per ton.
The purchase followed the cancellation of a previous tender and the announcement of a new one, as the country sought to take advantage of more favorable market conditions. Jordan regularly holds international tenders to secure stable supplies of milling wheat.
