Jordan purchased 60 thsd tons of wheat
On April 21, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of wheat were contracted from Cargill at $273.99 per ton for delivery from August 16 to 31 on a C&F basis.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- CHS, which bid $275.40 per ton;
- Bunge – $281.00;
- Dreyfus – $282.00
