Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of wheat
On March 5, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of hard milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
At the tender 60 thousand tons of wheat of presumably Russian origin were purchased from Grainflower at $236 per ton on C&F Aqaba basis with delivery on July 1–15, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- CHS, which offered wheat at $243.75 per tonne
- Al Dahra – $248
- Ameropa – $243
- Buildcom – $248.77
- The Andersons – $249
- Farm Sense – $264.
