Jordan purchased 100 thsd tons of barley

Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender on March 5 to purchase 120,000 tons of random-origin feed barley. It purchased 100 thousand tons of barley at $230.5 C&F from Ameropa with shipment in July. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Also taking part in the tender were:
- CHS, which offered barley at $241.73 per tonne
- Cargill – $234.92/t
- Viterra – $236/t
- Bunge – $237.50/t
- Dreyfus – $242/t
- Olam – $234.33/t
- Al Dahra – $239.80/t
- Agro Chirnogi – $239/t
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
