Jordan makes no purchase in 120 thsd ton barley tender
Jordan is believed to have made no purchase in an international tender for 120 thsd tons of feed barley that closed on September 30. Preliminary reports indicate that five companies participated — Al Ghurair, Bunge, Soufflet, Louis Dreyfus and Olam.
Jordan is expected to issue a new tender in the coming days for another 120 thsd tons of feed barley for shipment in January–February. The bidding deadline is tentatively set for October 7.
