Jordan launches tender to purchase 120 thsd tons of feed barley

Jordan’s state grain buyer has issued an international tender to purchase up to 120,000 tonnes of feed barley. The deadline for submitting price offers is June 17. The new tender was announced after the country made no purchases in its previous tender for the same volume of barley.

Under the tender terms, shipments are sought in consignments of 50,000–60,000 tonnes between September 1 and October 31, 2026. Deliveries may take place in several shipment windows depending on the offers received and purchasing decisions.

Jordan is also continuing to build grain supplies for the new season. In parallel, the country has an international tender open for the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat, with bids due by June 15.
