Jordan holds tender for wheat procurement
On October 14, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of milling wheat were contracted at $262.50 per ton on a C&F basis from CHS for shipment from February 15 to 28, 2026.
Also participating in the tender were:
- Cargill, which bid $255.49 per ton;
- Al Dahra – $250;
- Ameropa – $268.49;
- Cofco – $269.90.
Today, October 15, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also hold a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin.
