Jordan held a tender for the purchase of barley
On September 17, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of barley were contracted at $261.25 per ton on a C&F basis from Cargill, with shipment scheduled for December 1-15.
Dreyfus also participated in the tender, offering barley at $270 per ton, and Al Dahra at $254 per ton.
The next tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, with shipment scheduled for November-December, will be held on September 24.
On September 22, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also hold a tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat.
