Jordan held a tender for the purchase of barley
On November 5, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of barley were contracted at $269.25 per ton on a C&F basis from Bunge Trading for shipment from January 1 to 15.
Olam also participated in the tender, offering barley at $272.46 per ton.
The next tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin for shipment in December and January will be held on November 12.
On November 4, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat. Three companies participated in the tender: CHS, Cargill, and Ameropa. The next tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat will take place on November 11. Shipment of the wheat is scheduled for January 1–February 28, 2026.
