Jordan cancels wheat tender, re-announces it
On July 22, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, the Zerno On-Line agency reported, citing European traders. Six companies took part in the tender: Nibulon, Bunge, CHS, Cargill, Al Dahra, Ameropa.
At the same time, the ministry announced a tender for the purchase of a similar amount of wheat on July 29. Shipment is scheduled for September 16-30, October 1-31 and November 1-15.
