Jordan cancels wheat tender and issues new one
Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has canceled a wheat tender that was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, traders reported. No further details were disclosed regarding the reasons behind the cancellation.
At the same time, the country issued a new international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat. The deadline for submitting offers is set for March 3, with shipment of the grain required in May–June of the current year.
