Jordan cancels wheat tender again
On August 12, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat of any origin with shipment on October 1-31 and November 1-30. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Four companies took part in the tender: CHS, Cargill, Aldahra and Ameropa.
The previous tender, scheduled for August 5, was also cancelled.
The next attempt to purchase 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat of any origin will take place on August 19. Shipment is scheduled for October 1-31 and November 1-30.
