Jordan Cancels Tender for Wheat Purchase and Re-Announces It
On August 5, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin for delivery from September 16 to November 15. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Four companies took part in the tender: CHS, Cargill, Aldahera, Ameropa.
At the same time, the ministry announced a tender for the purchase of a similar amount of wheat on August 12. Shipment is scheduled for October 1-31 and November 1-30.
