Jordan canceled a tender for wheat purchase
On April 2, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin with delivery in June-July. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Five companies took part in the tender: Viterra, Ameropa, CHS, Cargill, Al Dahra.
Presumably, the lowest price for wheat offered by the bidders was $246 per ton.
The next tender for purchase of similar volume of wheat with delivery in June-July will be held on April 16.
