Jordan buys 60 thsd tons of wheat in tender
Jordan purchased about 60,000 tons of milling wheat of optional origin in an international tender held on Tuesday. According to traders, the winning offer came from CHS at $277.50 per tonne on a C&F basis, with shipment scheduled for the first half of June.
The country is also expected to issue a new tender for 120,000 tons of wheat, with a submission deadline of March 24 and shipment planned for June–July. In addition, a separate Jordanian tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley is set to close on Wednesday, highlighting the country’s active presence in the global grain market.
