Jordan buys 60 thsd tons of barley from Cargill
Jordan has purchased 60,000 tonnes of barley from Cargill at $273.50 per tonne in a tender that ended on Wednesday, traders said on condition of anonymity. The grain is scheduled for delivery in the first half of April.
At the same time, the country has announced a new tender for the purchase of barley. The deadline for submitting proposals is January 21, and the grain is scheduled to be shipped in March-April.
