Jordan again canceled the tender for wheat purchase
On May 28, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled the tender for the purchase of 120 thsd tonnes of milling wheat of arbitrary origin. It was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to the European traders.
Seven companies took part in the tender: Viterra, CHS, Cargill, Ameropa, GrainStar, Al Dahra, Cerealcom.
The previous several wheat tenders were also canceled.
The next tender for the purchase of a similar volume of wheat will be held on June 4. Delivery is scheduled for July-August.
