In the first month of the season, Ukraine exported more than 2.1 million tons of grain
According to operational data of the State Customs Service, as of July 31, since the beginning of 2023/24, Ukraine exported 2.16 million tons of grain and pulses crops, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
At the same time, as of August 1 last year, the specified indicator was 1.613 million tons.
In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following were exported:
– wheat – 758 thousand tons (in 2022/23 MR – 361 thousand tons);
– barley – 285 thousand tons (142 thousand tons);
– rye – 0.5 thousand tons (0);
– corn – 1.112 million tons (1.102 million tons).
The total export of Ukrainian flour as of July 31 also exceeds last year’s figure and is estimated at 9.7 thousand tons (as of August 1, 2022 – 3.9 thousand tons), of which wheat – 9.4 thousand tons (3, 2 thousand tons).
