In July, Ukraine exported 3 million tons of grain and oilseeds
In July 2022, Ukraine exported 3 million tons of grain and oil crops. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denis Marchuk, during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
“In June, we unloaded 2 million 200 thousand tons, and in July this indicator reached about 3 million grain and oil crops, which, in fact, demonstrates the improvement of the logistics direction,” he said.
Marchuk added that the increase in export volume demonstrates the improvement of the capacity of river ports on the Danube, through which 1.3 million tons of agricultural products were exported in July. This is 3.7 times more than in previous months.
It will be recalled that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal stated that in three months it was possible to increase Ukrainian exports by 20%.
After the full-scale invasion of Russia, the export of Ukrainian goods in March and April collapsed almost twice compared to pre-war indicators. The figure dropped to about 2.5 billion dollars per month.
