In January-May 2026, Armenia increased grain imports
In January-May 2026, Armenia imported 196.9 thousand tons of grain worth $53.6 million, according to Zerno On-Line, citing the Statistical Committee of Armenia. Compared to the same period last year, grain imports increased by 9% in volume and 15% in value.
Wheat imports in January-May 2026 amounted to 139.0 thousand tons (121.2 thousand tons a year earlier); corn – 33.1 thousand tons (28.1 thousand tons); and barley – 19.5 thousand tons (25.1 thousand tons).
