Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on Dec 28
The rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 34.56 per euro.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 28 at UAH 28.35 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country’s national currency strengthen by 11 kopiykas.
The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 34.56 per euro – the hryvnia gained six kopiykas in value since Thursday, according to the NBU website.
The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for December 28:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,835.47 (UAH 2,845.51 as of December 24);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,456.01 (UAH 3,461.56 as of December 24).
Interbank rate
By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.38/28.40 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.59/34.61.
Forex rate for December 24
The National Bank set the official forex rate for December 24 at UAH 28.46 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country’s national currency by 21 kopiykas.
