“Grain Initiative”: the largest capesize of 115,000 tons of Ukrainian grain left the “Pivdennyi” port

On September 27, 9 bulk carriers took out 345,000 tons of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe from the ports of Great Odesa. Among them, the largest capesize is MARAN EXCELLENCE, as well as NORD WIND with 27.3 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat for Tunisia.
This is reported on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Since August 1, 231 ships with 5.29 million tons of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.
As a reminder, capesize is a category of bulk carriers with a carrying capacity of over 150,000 tons.
