GASC issued wheat purchasing tender on 3.8 mln tons
On August 12, 2024 Egyptian GASC will hold the largest tender in its history for 3.8 mln tons milling wheat purchasing.
It seems that Egypt will try to change the format of the tender – similar to Saudi Arabia and take advantage of the seasonal decline in wheat prices.
FOB delivery period: 1-15 and/or 16-30 of each month from October 2024 until April 2025.
Egypt bought 770 K mt of Bulgarian and russian milling wheat at an average price of USD 241.07/t, C&F at the previous tender on July 16, 2024.
