Freight index Baltic Dry has increased by 60% in 2021

The Baltic Dry Index, which provides the price for sea shipping, for the transportation of bulk and bulk vantages throughout the whole world, has increased by 60% in 2021.
Freight rates grew over the last 13 years – 5650 points. Many people spent their time on the transport of goods on the basis of the global economy update, as well as congestion in ports, lack of containers, COVID-19 sleepers at Chinese ports and interruptions in supply lines.
Analysts predict that freight rates will be too high until 2023. The price has been zoomed in by the negative influx of the Omicron COVID-19 coronavirus into the economy of the world, as well as on the logistic lanterns on the back of a large number of ports, including in China.
The Baltic Dry Index is recognized as a tool for assessing international business activity. There is a view of the parity of transport by sea route of bulk and bulk vantazhiv (ores, grains, too) behind the main significant trade routes of bulk carriers of new types – capesize, panamax and supermax. At the presentation of the dynamics and the value of the Baltic Dry Index, it is possible to assess the relative activity of the sectors of the economy, which, thanks to the service of the sea-farmers, analyze the country and often forecast the development of the new trade and industry.
In early 2021, the consulting company Clarkson Research Services has seen that the freight rates for container ships for the period from the earliest years have grown more and less from the earliest times and by 128% outweigh the previous maximum of 2005. The situation has become strained, so the operators of the bulk market have lost their struggle, and they are able to transport containers on their ships.
