Four regions of Ukraine have already finished sowing winter crops

As of the end of October, agricultural producers of all regions have sown 4.1 million hectares of winter crops, or 85% ahead of the forecast, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
- Wheat is planted on 3.5 million hectares, or 87%.
- Barley – 507 thousand hectares, or 75%.
- Rye – 78 thousand hectares, or 92.
During the previous week, 449,000 hectares of winter crops were sown for grain. The farmers of Odesa region sowed the most winter crops, 108,000 ha.
Agrarian farms in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions have completed sowing of winter grain crops, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Bukovyna are close to completion.
Agricultural producers of all regions of Ukraine completed the sowing of winter rapeseed, of which 999,000 hectares were sown, or 104% of the forecast.
