Fiscal Service of Ukraine reported on vegetable oil exports
According to the State Fiscal Service, Ukraine exported 1.796 MMT of vegetable oils (codes 1507-1515 in the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity) in January-March 2019, worth USD 1.198 Bl., reports UkrAgroConsult.
Exports of sunflower, safflower and cotton oils (code 1512) totaled 1.688 MMT worth USD 1.129 Bl. The largest volumes were shipped to India (USD 491.673 Ml worth, or 43.6% of their exports in monetary terms), China (USD 106.539 Ml worth, or 9.4%), and the Netherlands (USD 101.759 Ml worth, or 9%). USD 429.14 Ml worth of the products went to other countries (38%).
Exports of soybean oil (code 1507) totaled 98.045 KMT worth USD 61.092 Ml.
As a reminder, vegetable oil exports in 2018 were down 1% year-on-year at 5.955 MMT. In monetary terms, they fell by 2.6%, to USD 4.39 Bl.
