Far-right Romanian presidential candidate Kalin Georgescu says he will ban grain transit from Ukraine

The far-right leader of the presidential race in Romania said that if elected, he would ban further exports of Ukrainian grain through Romania and military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by Reuters.
“It is impossible to imagine that there is a war in the middle of Europe, so the priority will definitely be that this war in Ukraine must be stopped immediately,” Georgescu said.
He also emphasized that if NATO takes a defensive stance, it should remain defensive.
I believe in one thing: Romania is not beholden to anyone,” the far-right candidate emphasized.
Georgescu said that Romanian companies should hold a majority in any enterprises with foreign investors, as decision-making should remain in Romania, not with foreigners.
In addition, Georgescu questioned the effectiveness of European Union funding.
