Exports of soybean oil from Ukraine increased by a quarter in 2024
In 2024, the export of Ukrainian soybean oil totaled 259.4 thsd tonnes, up 25% from 207.1 thsd tonnes last year. In September, the country exported 17.5 thsd tonnes of soybean oil (+6.7%), according to the association Ukroliyaprom.
The export of sunflower oil in 2024 amounted to 4.6 mln tonnes, up 13.7% compared to 4.1 mln tonnes in the same period last year. In September, the exports of sunflower oil amounted to 370.2 thsd tonnes (+3.6%).
In 2024, Ukraine supplied 185.3 thsd tonnes of rapeseed oil to the foreign markets, down 24% compared to the previous year’s volumes of 244.8 thsd tonnes. The September figure amounted to 39.2 thsd tonnes (-63%).
