Ukraine increased its frozen raspberry exports to 56.8 thousand tons in June-March of the 2025-2026 season and received record foreign exchange earnings for this product.

According to the report of the “Berry Growing of Ukraine” association, frozen raspberry exports for the 2025-2026 season increased by 7% compared to the previous year.

Revenue from supplies increased by 66% – to a record 223.8 million euros, and the average export price rose to 3.94 euros per kilogram.

The following countries remain the largest importers of Ukrainian raspberries:

  • Poland (23.3 thousand tons),
  • Germany (12.7 thousand tons),
  • Czech Republic (9.8 thousand tons).

At the same time, March became the most expensive month of the season – 4.55 thousand tons were exported at an average price of 4.22 euros/kg.

As noted, the expected raspberry crop failure in Serbia and damage to berry plantations in Poland may support high prices for frozen berries in the 2026-2027 season.

Thus, this creates additional opportunities for Ukrainian producers to plan their harvest and conclude long-term export contracts.

The report also reports that blueberry exports from Ukraine are gradually expanding.

In particular, the volume of deliveries increased to 9.2 thousand tons (+11%), and revenue – to 16.4 million euros (+32%). The average price increased to 1.79 euros/kg.

The main sales markets for Ukrainian blueberries remain Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic.

Recall that according to the results of 2025, Ukraine became the world’s largest exporter of frozen raspberries for the second time in a row.
