Every 10th bottle of juice in the world is made from Ukrainian fruit concentrates

Every 10th bottle of juice in the world is made from Ukrainian fruit concentrates. This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval.
He noted that the largest producer of concentrates is the TBF Group company, which has five factories in Ukraine, which process about 300 thousand tons of raw materials per season. The main sales markets for products are not only retail food chains in Ukraine, but also the countries of the European Union and the USA.
“Most of the factories are built according to the green field principle. This makes it possible to use advanced production technologies and ensure a high level of energy efficiency. Also, all the group’s factories have a closed production cycle, which reduces the level of waste to 0%,” the minister said.
In addition, the company opened a bioethanol production plant, the production volume of which is 4.5 thousand cubic meters of bioethanol per month. The main raw material is corn grain, the processing volume of which is 11.5 thousand tons per month.
In addition, the company also produces by-products such as dry grain germ (DDGS), corn oil and plans to launch the production of liquefied CO2.
As reported, in 2024, Ukraine for the first time became the world leader in net exports of frozen raspberries, ahead of Poland and the long-standing leader in this segment – Serbia. 10 years ago, Ukraine practically did not export this berry.
Earlier, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Taras Vysotsky, stated that Ukraine could increase the level of providing the European Union with crops grown in Ukraine to almost 100%.
