Eurovneshtorg will handle grain for Soufflet Négoce and Cargill
The port operator, EBT Grain, will handle Cargill and Soufflet Négoce grain at the Eurovneshtorg grain terminal (Mykolaiv seaport) in the 2019/20 season, CTS reports.
"In late June, agreements were signed with Soufflet Agro Ukraine, a subsidiary of the French agro-industrial group Soufflet Négoce, and Cargill, a subsidiary of the American corporation Cargill. According to the signed documents, the parties agreed on the terms of receiving, storing and documenting the transshipment at the Eurovneshtorg sea grain terminal," says the statement.
According to the director of EBT Grain, Serhiy Gunko, the terminal can provide for the handling of about 3 percent of all grain exports from Ukraine. In the future, the company plans to increase its capacity and transship up to 8 percent of grain annually.
Previously reported that the Interproekt GmbH specialists completed the automation of the new Eurovneshtorg sea grain terminal.
