European Commission approves quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products
The European Commission has approved the volume of quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products, which will be in effect from June 6 until the end of 2025 under the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement. This is outlined in a document published on the European Union’s website.
Some quotas are divided into two parts: from June 6 to September 30 (4/7 of the volume) and from October 1 to December 31 (3/7 of the volume), which allows for a more even distribution of supplies throughout the year. This step by the EU is aimed at maintaining a balance between supporting Ukrainian exports and the stability of the European agricultural market.
