European Commission has raised its soft wheat harvest estimate but lowered its export forecast
The European Commission has raised its estimate for the gross soft wheat harvest in the EU countries for the current season (July-June) from 134.2 to 134.4 million tonnes.
The soft wheat export forecast was lowered from 29.5 million tonnes to 28.5 million tonnes, and the carryover stock forecast was increased from 13.0 to 14.4 million tonnes.
