EU soft wheat yield estimated at 6.04 t/ha – MARS
The EU Crop Monitoring Service (MARS) has slightly raised its forecast for EU cereal yields in 2025, citing favourable rainfall in southern Europe and the limited impact of the dry period on crops in the north of the region.
In particular, the yield of soft wheat is estimated at 6.04 t/ha, durum – 3.77 t/ha. The April estimate was 6.03 t/ha and 3.69 t/ha, respectively, according to MARS data.
The forecast for spring barley is 4.86 t/ha against 4.87 t/ha in April. For winter barley – 5.28 ha against 5.18 t/ha in April.
The forecast for corn has not changed compared to the April estimate – 7.45 t/ha.

Rye – 4.19 t/ha
Triticale – 4.45 t/ha
Rapeseed – 3.17 t/ha
Potatoes – 37.4 t/ha
Sugar beet – 77.9 t/ha
Sunseed – 2.09 t/ha
Soybeans – 2.82 t/ha
Pulses – 2.83 t/ha
Peas – 2.33 t/ha
