EU reduced grain imports by 27% this season
During the thirty-six weeks of the current season, which began on July 1, 2025, EU countries imported 16.9 million tons of grain and grain products, 27% less than during the same period in the 2024/2025 season, according to the Zerno On-Line agency, citing the European Commission.

Перове место по поставкам пшеницы в ЕС в текущем сезоне занимает Канада. С начала сезона Канада поставила 1010,7 тыс. т мягкой и 684,1 тыс. т твердой пшеницы. Ячмень ЕС импортирует, главным образом, из Великобритании (272,1 тыс. т), кукурузу – из Украины (4717,5 тыс. т), США (3590,1 тыс. т) и Бразилии (3004,1 тыс. т).
