EU increased grain exports by 16%
Over the first forty-three weeks of the current season, which began on July 1, 2025, the European Union exported 32.7 million tonnes of grain and processed grain products, which is 16% more compared to the same period of the 2024/2025 season.

During the reporting period, Romania exported 6.3 million tonnes of soft wheat, 2.0 million tonnes of barley, and 0.8 million tonnes of corn. France exported 4.9 million tonnes of soft wheat, 2.8 million tonnes of barley, and 0.3 million tonnes of corn.
Data on France’s exports from the beginning of the 2024 calendar year are incomplete. Data on exports from Bulgaria and Ireland since the start of the 2023/2024 season are incomplete. Data on Greece’s exports from January 2026 are incomplete.
