Romania ranks first in the export of oilseeds among the EU countries, having supplied 268.1 thousand tons of sunflower, 85.2 thousand tons of soybeans and 32.4 thousand tons of rapeseed to foreign markets this season.
The largest exporter of vegetable oil among the EU countries is Spain, which exported 225.6 thousand tons of soybean oil, 72.1 thousand tons of sunflower oil and 6.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil this season.
The main destinations for soybean exports from the EU this season were Serbia (225.0 thousand tons), rapeseed – Great Britain (297.6 thousand tons), sunflower – Turkey (292.9 thousand tons).
The largest buyers of European soybean oil this season were Morocco (291.3 thousand tons), sunflower oil – Great Britain (132.6 thousand tons), and rapeseed oil – Norway (169.9 thousand tons).
