EU cuts 2024/25 maize, soft wheat crop estimates
The European Commission on Thursday reduced its forecast for usable production of common wheat in the European Union in 2024/25 to 112.6 million metric tons from 114.6 million predicted a month ago.
In supply and demand data, the Commission also lowered its forecast for 2024/25 usable production of maize to 58.0 million tons from 60.1 million in late September.
