Egypt cancels tender for wheat imports
Egypt’s state food procurement agency GASC canceled the tender for wheat imports scheduled for March 7.
According to traders, the reason for the tender cancellation could be too high offer prices, according to the importer. The minimum bid was $225.77 per ton FOB.
The wheat is to be delivered to Egypt on May 1-10, 2024.
