Denmark joined the grain initiative Grain from Ukraine
Denmark has joined the Ukrainian grain initiative Grain from Ukraine. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated this during a press conference with the President of Ukraine Voloimir Zelenskyi in Odesa on Monday.
“I am happy to announce that we are joining the Grain from Ukraine initiative,” said Frederiksen.
She also stated that Ukraine can count on Denmark to help rebuild the city of Mykolaiv and invest in the economy.
“We want to create jobs, restore the economy together with Danish business. I think that many companies in Denmark have something to share, especially in such a field as energy, environmental solutions, energy efficiency,” she said.
“You can count on Denmark, Mr. President Zelensky, because we are united by democratic values. Denmark is with you, and we will remain close friends and partners,” the Danish Prime Minister added.
