Croatia’s wheat production rises 29% in 2025
In 2025, Croatia’s production of soft and hard wheat (winter, spring, and seed) increased by 28.8% compared to the previous year, reaching 1.05 million tonnes, the national statistical office reported.
Production of winter and spring barley rose by 19.5% to 356,000 tonnes, while sunflower output grew 13.3% to 205,000 tonnes, according to provisional data.
Meanwhile, maize production fell by 17.7% to 1.702 million tonnes, sugar beet output declined by 13.8% to 406,000 tonnes, and rapeseed production increased by 15.1% to 61,000 tonnes compared to 2024.
